Begin this year, in March, I started making a series about the lockdown. Everyone had to stay home because of Covid-19.
“Trapped” stands for being trapped in my house, but also in myself. The series is about my feelings, but also about my relationship with my boyfriend and my sister. I have a good relationship with my sister and it has become even stronger this lockdown. My boyfriend was also “stuck” at my house and I have also built a stronger relationship with him.
To support the images and my feelings I started making illustrations. The words in the illustrations represent my experience with the lockdown.
I was stuck with my family and my boyfriend, Stijn, in my parent's house. Since we were stuck with 6 people, two dogs, and a cat, I thought there was going to be a lot of chaos. Fortunately, this turned out very different. Not only did I recorded my feelings, but I also recorded the peace and quiet in and around my house.

Wanneer kunnen we de foto's verwachten?Na onze newborn, zwangerschap of koppel/gezin -sessie ontvang je de beelden na 7 dagen. Na jullie fantastische trouwdag kan je de preview van ± 40 beelden na 48u verwachten. Maximum vier weken na de trouwdatum ontvang je de volledige afgewerkte selectie.

Kunnen we ook prints en albums bestellen?Dat kan zeker! Na onze sessie kunnen jullie via de online galerij prints bestellen. Voor een album bespreek ik graag samen met jullie wat de opties zijn.
